Cookies & Tracking Technologies Notice

Last Updated: September 16, 2026

1. Overview

This Cookies & Tracking Technologies Notice explains how Kienstra Ready Mix and its affiliated companies (collectively, "Kienstra," "we," "our," or "us") use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies when you access or use Kienstra websites that link to this notice and their related online services (collectively, the "Services"). We use Cookies and Tracking Technologies to operate our Services, understand how users interact with our sites, improve performance and usability, support fraud prevention and security, and deliver advertising that may be more relevant to your interests. This Notice should be read together with our Privacy Notice and Your Privacy Choices, each of which is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions.

2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our partners use the following categories of technologies:

  • Cookies – Small data files stored on your browser or device that help websites function, remember preferences, and collect usage information.

  • Pixels / Tags / Beacons – Small pieces of code embedded on pages or emails that transmit information about interactions or conversions.

  • Scripts – Software components that enable analytics, advertising, performance monitoring, fraud prevention, and integrations with third-party services.

Together, these technologies are referred to in this Notice as "Cookies and Tracking Technologies."

3. Categories of Cookies and Tracking Technologies We Use

Cookiebot groups cookies into Necessary, Preferences, Statistics, and Marketing. The descriptions below explain these categories and related website functions. Optional cookies and tracking technologies depend on consent to the relevant category.

A. Necessary

These technologies are required for core site functionality and security, including:

  • Enabling page navigation

  • Remembering cookie consent choices

  • Preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents

Necessary cookies cannot be switched off within Cookiebot. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, including necessary cookies, but doing so may prevent parts of the Services from working properly.

B. Preferences

With Preferences consent, these cookies allow the website to remember choices and provide enhanced, more personalized features.

C. Statistics

With Statistics consent, we use optional analytics and performance tools to understand how visitors use our Services and to improve functionality, reliability, and user experience. These technologies may collect:

  • IP address and device or browser characteristics

  • Page views, navigation paths, and interaction data

  • Performance metrics, error logs, and diagnostic information

D. Marketing

We and our advertising partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to:

  • Measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns

  • Deliver advertisements that may be more relevant to your interests

  • Support retargeting, attribution, and measurement across websites and platforms

  • Integrate with social media advertising services

Under certain U.S. state privacy laws, some of these activities may be considered the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Embedded YouTube videos and Google Maps require Marketing consent. Accepting Marketing cookies through the initial banner or saving that choice enables these embeds on the website without a separate acceptance for each one. With Marketing off, the embeds remain blocked. When a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal is recognized, Marketing remains blocked.

The following descriptions explain website functions, not additional cookie-consent categories.

Customer Support and Communications Tools

Certain technologies support customer engagement features, such as contact forms or customer service interactions. These tools may process identifiers and interaction metadata related to support requests.

Fraud Prevention and Security

We use technologies designed to protect our customers and business from fraud, abuse, and security threats. These tools analyze device and browser signals for security and fraud-prevention purposes.

4. Data Types Involved

Depending on the technology and purpose, Cookies and Tracking Technologies may process:

  • Online identifiers (such as cookies, IP addresses, and device identifiers)

  • Internet or network activity information

  • Inference data related to preferences, site usage, advertising effectiveness, or fraud risk

5. Your Choices and Controls

You can manage your preferences for non-essential Cookies and Tracking Technologies at any time by clicking: Cookie Preferences. This will open our preference center, where you can enable or disable certain categories of Cookies and Tracking Technologies. Select "Manage choices" to open the "Details" tab, where you can review category information and adjust optional categories. Click "Save choices" to apply your selections. Select "I accept" to accept all categories or "Use necessary only" to decline optional categories. Your preferences are applied at the browser and device level and may need to be set separately across different browsers or devices.

You have several options to manage Cookies and Tracking Technologies:

  • Cookie Controls: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Please note that essential cookies are required for our Services to function properly.

  • Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing / Targeted Advertising: To turn off advertising-related tracking, open Cookie Preferences, select "Manage choices," turn "Marketing" off, and click "Save choices." You may also review Your Privacy Choices for more information.

  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): When our website receives a recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we disable Marketing cookies and related advertising tracking for that browser.

  • Industry Opt-Out Tools: You may also opt out of interest-based advertising through industry programs such as the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) or the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA).

Your choices may affect the relevance of ads you see but will not prevent you from seeing advertisements altogether. Even if you opt out of targeted advertising, we may continue to use certain information for essential operations, analytics that do not involve cross-context behavioral advertising, fraud prevention, and other permitted purposes. Please note that your preferences do not affect data collection or use that is necessary to operate our Services, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or as otherwise permitted by law. You may revisit and update your preferences at any time by reopening the preference center through the Cookie Preferences link available on our Services.
