Rust-Colored Stains in Exposed Aggregate Concrete
Rust-colored spots on exposed aggregate concrete can be associated with naturally occurring iron-rich particles in the stone. These particles, sometimes called ironstone, may oxidize when exposed to air and moisture near the surface.
